Agreed!
I told Laine that Malcovich did a great job, and wished there were more preachers like his character. Although when preachers and religious leaders do get involved in politics today, usually they are met with criticism from inside and outside of the church. So I can see why some are reluctant to get involved.
Also, Laine and I watched Slumdog Millionaire last weekend. I was not very impressed, but it was alright.

Alright, so to get caught up, I need to see: Changeling Man on Wire Slumdog Millionaire Gran Torino (possibly) Coraline and I really wanted to see Son of Ranbow Did I miss any from this thread? Also, what have ya'll seen and loved since then? I LOVED Disney/Pixar's UP that just came out! And I also saw and liked State of Play, as well as X-Men Origins: Wolverine (though I have my issues, as you can read here: qwkwit.blogspot.com/2009/05/x-men-origins-wolverine-review.html)I miss watching movies... I have been slacking. |

All our dvd watching time has been dominated as of late by watching Lost from season 1-3.
However, we did see Monsters vs. Aliens. Worth a few laughs. Sort of a Dr. Stranglelove meets Monsters Inc.

I STOPPED watching Lost in season 3. It got so dull for me. Doing way too much, and then it was like 3 episodes went by and only 4 hours of real-time on the island.. boring. And what the heck, I just lost a star!!!  BOO |

I have been slacking. ~That's why God made summer, buddy! ;D I'm just as busy over Summer, though... but IF I can buy myself a house, I will spend plenty of time just enjoying my new digs and watching all sorts of movies. Possibly because I might not be able to afford my precious cable tv at that time and will have to resort to borrowing movies, Netflix and redbox. But it would all be worth it  |

I remember taking the ASVAB in HS (High School, for the uninformed). I was especially efficient in mind control, though I don't think that is too shocking.
