First of all, I was glad Michael E. won because I feel he did an incredible job as an actor.

HOWEVER.....was I the only one a little creeped out when he accepted the award??
I think I was thinking the "Ben" thing was just a persona Michael Emerson invented. But, when he stepped up to accept and gave his, (admittedly very modest and humble,) speech, he sounded too much like he was channelling Ben!!! After his thank you, I half expected him tell the entire audience that he had locked all the doors in the theatre and there was no way out!!!
--So, you think my imagination is a little too vivid?

Actually, we're past that point. We're on the last disk of season 1. The numbers thing was left kind of unresolved, so I'm guessing they'll resolve it at some point when whatever is in the "hatch" is discovered. But that's only my guess.

The curse of the numbers? Well, I suppose one could draw all kinds of spiritually significant parallels with that. But as of yet, I haven't made any. I'm just being entertained at this point.

My hope is that however it ends, it does not go the way of Alias....

I'm curious if we will ever learn the purpose of the others, and the purpose of the island itself.

I really like the parallels this show has had with societal philosophies and religion, it may be all for entertainment, but at least it is a bit of a brain exercise as well.
