So, last week when Justus was feverish he was sleeping in our bed and in the middle of the night blurted out: "EVERYBODY HAS THE SAME ROBOT" Rosemary asked him what he said, so he repeated: "EVERYBODY HAS THE SAME ROBOT" I know, my son's pretty deep I mean- I'm still trying to figure it out.

Maybe he was trying to bring you a message from the future....or not.

Riley: Daddy, do frogs have white hands? Me: No. Riley: I want them to.

Overheard in the next room: Justus: Riley, did you know that you were with Jesus before you were in mommy's tummy?Riley: Yeah, I know.I was wondering why my copy of the writings of Origen was missing.... 10 points if you know why I said that

As a side note, Tertullian also shared this view. By the way, this is one of the areas where I disagree with Origen. When I think of Pre-existence of the human soul, I automatically think, Mormon theology.

Me to my son Justus:
"Justus, where do you want to go camping? The beach or the mountains?"
Justus:
"Ummm.... The mountains because they have more wilderness!"
Yes!!! Just one more confirmation the cloning was successful.

Several years ago, when my third niece was about 3 years old, my Mom was driving with her window down. My niece, from the backseat said, "Grandma, blow up your window so my hair won't roll."

...hmmm...I guess it's my job to "work on" Riley so that I will have someone to go to the beach with!

"Grandma, blow up your window so my hair won't roll." It's good to know "spoonerisms" don't only afflict the aged.

Here's a crazy one! The kids and I were on a hike behind our neighborhood yesterday - the birds are chirping, the frogs croaking - you know usual outdoor noises, when Riley starts shushing us. Then this took place... Riley: "Shhhh! I hear Jesus talking!" Listening intently for a moment Rose: "You hear Jesus right now?" Riley: "Yes!" Rose: "What is Jesus saying?" Riley: "Well, God says He wants to help you - He wants to help you get on the big ship...and me too!" It was completely out of the blue and nothing we did during the day could have triggered that kind of moment! It was so amazing! And what's really funny is that my Dad would like to take us on one of his cruises one of these years and I would REALLY like to go! I guess this confirms that we will be getting on that ship...one of these days! So, can we give Riley the "office of prophet"? I think this definitely proves something!

Rose, Reminds me of that song we like to sing, "your son's and daughter's will prophesy" Of course all my daughter prays about these days is for the "doedeedodes". Her favorite new catch all silly word.
Side note, my dad was just saying last week that he really wants to take Justus out in his boat shad fishing. Not a high dollar cruise, but still.....

"The gospel ship"- what a classic metaphor. Jesus must like that one.
