It's been a while since I watched a Christian historical documentary that I loved, so I'd like to recommend: This Changed Everything , a three hour documentary which covers the Reformation in great detail, but most uniquely, from all vantage points: Lutheran, Anglican, Reformed, Anabaptism, and Catholic, with representatives of each tradition gives their best and gracious take on the Reformation at this 500 year anniversary. Probably one of the best things I liked about it was the bonus disc of interviews, as well as their varied, hopeful, and realistic discussion of the future of Christian unity.
