Had this thought today:
It is not enough to simply pray generically for "spiritual warfare". Such prayers are ineffective unless one has already done something specific to stir up the hornet's nest, bind the strong man, take the fight to the enemy. And that something specific is a very concrete action: a speaking of truth in a tough situation, an act of love against all inclination, a costly sacrifice, etc..
