1. What is God's grace?
2. Why is God's grace important to his children?
3. How does God's grace effect his children's day to day lives?
Bonus Question: Why does God give his cildren grace?
here are my short answers:
1) God's unmerited favor (Prov 3:34) towards his children through faith in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
2) With God's grace, his children's sin is imputed to Jesus and Jesus' righteousness is imputed to his children by Jesus' death and resurrection on the cross(Rom 3:21-24). God causes his children to believe through faith leading to repentance and the forgiveness of sins (Rom 9).
3) Therefor is children have right-standing before God and a desire to walk in holiness like Jesus through faith in the word of God by the power of the Spirit (Rom 8:9-11). This so his children will love God and love others to the glory of God (Luke 12:29-31).
Bonus Question) thoughts?

?
Also, grace enables us to be grace-ful to others. "He who has been forgiven much loves much" Luke 7:47
Oh, and a line from U2 that I love:
"Grace.... travels outside of karma"
--Grace, U2
4. Why does God give his children grace?
Because God is love. It is his nature. That would be one way to answer.
