Robin,
Rose and I have started watching Band of Brothers. I can't believe I've taken so long to watch it. Anyway, it's great. Thanks for loaning it.
Who else has seen it? Thoughts?
I have to say that Blithe from episode 3 sure reminded me of Chris's friend Kent. Did you see the resemblance?

I'm not sure what similarities you see, but would be interested to know what connections you made.
By the way, there is a small scene in the third part (Carentan) where shortly after the soldiers enter the village and find themselves in a bloody and brutal battle, a priest is boldly walking through the street giving the last rights to dieing soldiers. I was moved by this little scene that lasted no longer that about 10 seconds. I'm not sure if this is simply Hollywood embellishment, or part of the factual story told by those who were there. I would like to believe the latter.
Can you now see why I have watched this series almost ten times? I pick something new each time.
