Last night Laine, the boys, and I went to see "A Christmas Carol" with some friends. The movie was excellent. I was blown away by the visual effects (we watched the 3D vision). I expected the typical kids version of the story, but instead the movie held to the original dialog and story line from Dickens book. This is by far my favorite movie of the year.
If you get a chance to see it in theater, especially in 3D, I encourage you to do so. It my not be appropriate for young children, due to some frightening scenes. Kids under 6 or 7 may be troubled by the movie. If you plan on going to see a movie before Christmas you should put this at the top of the list.

I think Justus will enjoy it, but be forewarned there are a couple frightening scenes that catch you by surprise.
