We've never been. There were a couple of years when Rose wanted to go but I thought it would be too expensive. Finally she said, "I'm going whether you're going or not!" so I smartened up.
I am excited though.
Did you see U23D btw?

No, I missed out on it. I was hoping they would release it on DVD.
You will not be disappointed at the show. It is worth the money, you will remember it for life.
Pop Mart was fun, but not anything special, just very cool. Elevation Tour was good, but the Vertigo tour was a bit better even. Both of the last two really had a worship aspect to them that could not be denied or ignored -- when the last set of the night starts with Amazing Grace to Grace, then Yahweh and finally, an extended 40 with Bono singing, "Thank you! Thank you! Father! Thank you!" Well, you sort of get into it.

I did some internet search to find out if they were, but I don't believe they are going to. If ever you have the opportunity (like say at OMSI), you absolutely have to go see it. It was amazing. There's even a thread on the forums about it: www.aletheia.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=music&thread=2290 On another note, I remember hearing when "No Line on the Horizon" came out that they were going to follow it up within the year with another album named "Songs of Ascent". Do you know anything about that?

I hadn't heard that. But since they are going on a second world tour, I would not be surprised if they did release another companion album -- like Rattle & Hum was to the Joshua Tree.
They are going to release a live video from Anehiem. If you have not seen that on YouTube, you should take a look.

Oh well... It will be interesting to see the comeback.
What about that rumored album?
Actually the Edge is saying that they will be playing new songs in the new tour.

Songs of Ascent is supposed to be coming out later in the year, unless Bono's sugery has put it back.
