Just started reading a great history book entitled Justinian's Flea by William Rosen. It's about the first great plague (which killed 25 million in the late 6th Century) and the end of the Roman Empire/ the reign of the last great Emperor.

Fascinating so far. Highly recommended if you like this time period in history- particularly if you're interested in Byzantine history.

I’m done with trying to guess all your moves

I’ve got nothing left to lose

But that’s in fact the nature of the beast
