Anyone else been watching the show Flash Forward?
I understand it's the show that's prepping to replace Lost when it's over this coming season.
Rose and I have watched the first 3 episodes and for the most part like it.
Like Lost, it focuses in on themes like fate, faith, God, redemption, trust, grace, absolute/ relative morality, etc..
I'm not sure that I think the acting is quite as compelling as Lost, but thematically it's working for me.
Anyone else? I know Robin's been watching it.

Ok I am really liking this show, but hesitant to throw out some early running theories for fear of spoilage!

The end of episode 3 definitely provokes some theorizing.

Yes, my college student daughter says it's very popular. She started watching and encouraged me. I watched just enough of the last episode to confuse me--but, I think I'll definitely watch more. Paul walked by and commented: "Hm, looks like Heroes to me." The shots are very familiar. Also the way they enter in and out of scenes. I'll have to watch more before I give The Verdict.

my only complaint thus far is the color pallet. Too much brown and green/blue filtering! It's distracting to me.

Ok Josh, So I think that last night's episode presented a model of pastoral counseling that you should study and adopt!

The "why-are-you-bothering-me-this-is-awkward-I-don't-really-believe-this-stuff=anyway" model? That's what she gets for trying an Episcopal church D'oh!

Ahh, how quickly they surrender to threadmistress superiority!
How often we accomplish something without really trying!

Yeah, but don't you two trouble makers ask for "Threadmistress extraordinaire", it ain't happenin'. The line has to be drawn somewhere.

my only complaint thus far is the color pallet. Too much brown and green/blue filtering! It's distracting to me. Then I definitely can't watch it. That's the reason I won't watch LOTR. ;D

So funny, I actually said to Brianthe second time we watched it, "Michelle would hate how this show looks."!
