Gotta say I'm a huge fan of Veggie Tales. Witty, intelligent enough for adults, humorous and heart-felt enough for the kidlets. wacky enough for the kid in us all, I just love them. And the funny thing is that I tend toward casting a cynical eye at most successful marketed "Christian products". But somehow, I think maybe because I don't think Veggie Tales takes itself too seriously, I just love it. And I know they've taken flak at times from that group of Christians who can't seem to read between the lines for not being "overt" enough- especially in their recent venture into prime time TV. But man, yesterday morning, Justus was watching them on channel 8 and I had to do a double take because they mentioned Jesus on Saturday morning cartoons. The other funny thing is that I just did a little informal poll of my high school students as to how many of them have seen Veggie Tales and how many of them like(d) Veggie Tales (it's not just for little kids!) and I was amazed that like 80% of them had seen Veggie Tales and liked them. Talk about one of the few representations of the gospel reaching into some of the most needed places! Sweet. Bob and Larry have my vote. *oops now you know who I voted for

I'm a closet fan of the silly songs.
"Larry's High Silk Hat" and the "Yodeling Veteranarian of the Alps" rank among my all time fav's. We also have a Veggie Tales bluegrass CD (O' Veggie where art thou) that can't be beat.
Maybe we can line them up for the next ACF concert. ;D

Sounds good.
My favorite silly songs are "Pizza Angel" "Cheeseburger" and "My Baby Elf".
Did you guys ever watch "the Lord of the Beans"?
