I voted optimistically. Wait. I thought GW was a murderer, not a life save.

I voted optimistically. Wait. I thought GW was a murderer, not a life save. More ineffective and destabilizing rather than a murderer. If his greatest failing is proxying his presidency to Chaney and Rove, what then should he be accused of? Being a dancing puppet? Hardly an unknown in American history. Actually, I've heard some fair arguments that Bush was both intelligent (pilot and all) and himself in charge. The problem is I prefer to think of him as charismatic yokel, rather than someone purposefully isolating us from our allies. Then again we have a cherished history of breaking ties with Europe now and then. It keeps them reminded that we're not part of the old guard. Works well as long as we're the rising star.

This feels like the prediction of how many jobs will be saved by the Stimulus package. Impossible to tell, and perhaps none will truly be saved, but it's nice to throw a nice big number out there. Makes us all feel good.

President Bush's work on funding aid relief in Africa is one of the few policies that, that man had that I do agree with. Even a broken Cookoo clock is right twice a day.
