As you may know, that Car Czar who answers only to President Obama, has ordered the closing of Chrysler dealerships. Well many have wandered how they decided on which dealerships to close. Well we may have our answer. Take a look at the link below and read the blog. It appears that those dealerships that are being put out of business gave political donations to the wrong party. This cannot be a coincidence. www.victoriataft.com/

If true, super lame. But I always feel like I don't have the time necessary to track down the accuracy of stories like this. You think it's well substantiated?

Another troubling reality I found on the same blogger's site is a link to a news story about a pastor's weekly bible study at his HOME in san diego being grilled by county officials and threatened to need permits in order to keep having a gathering like this with 10-15 people.....what?!!?!??!?! Like the first article says, "what about people who have tupperware parties with that many people? Or poker nights? Or football watching parties? Or even birthday parties?"....oh my gosh! And why did the official have to ask about whether or not the people say, "Amen" or whether they "praise the Lord?" WHat?!?!?!? The first story was written first and then the second. I would recommend reading both to get more of the story. www.10news.com/news/19562217/detail.html www.10news.com/news/19595677/detail.html

I think it's important to keep all this in perspective. I know from experience that sometimes government 'officials' get a little too big for their britches and think they have more authority than they really do. So they sometimes try to flex this perceived "authority" to satisfy a personal vendetta or chip on their shoulder by intimidation. I see city officials do that up where I work for things like parking wherever they want all the time. Fortunately, it rarely works.
This shouldn't be too disturbing because it would never get a chance to get off the ground until the religious practice becomes heavily regulated (like it is in China). I'm betting even the ACLU would defend the pastor in this case.

I agree that it won't go anywhere now because we're not to that point in society. I pray for our children and grandchildren though. With God they will be ok even if it might get hard. That's why the Holy Spirit's presence is so important for us to have....to have peace and joy we cannot understand in a crazy world
