Dude. I think I was tripping. I can't find it now either. I think it might have been late at night and I saw the duet he does with Zooey Deschanel and was simultaneously looking up Feist on wikipedia and somehow my brain mixed the two lines of thought.
Bummer. But would be a good idea, huh?

Nate -
I love Menomena. It's different and quirky and fun. Danny writes their e-mail updates which are most often hilarious. I've written them back on occasion, just because they're funny, and he always writes back, which is fun. I started listening to them in the fall of 2004 (2005?) and SOMEHOW I have never seen them play. That's just wrong.
They got their start in underground Christian stuff. As did Viva Voce. I actually found out about both of them because they had both taken part in a split EP project done by velvet blue music (run by Jeff Cloud who often play(ed)(s) for Starflyer59 when on tour. ANYWAY - Yes. I like them.
I think it's Danny from Menomena who has a side project called Lackthereof. I like that a lot, too. The first cd was called 'Christian the Christian" which was ... really good... a lot of talk about Christianity and questioning, and such. And the new one is called...."Your Anchor". And I just heard about Brent's new side project called Ramona Falls.
Viva Voce is pretty awesome. I tend not to listen to them too often on CD, but their live shows are wonderful. Anita's a BEAST on the guitar. Their new CD is called "Rose City", and although I haven't listened to it a lot, I really love the title track. It makes me miss home. They also have a project called Blue Giant.
yadda yadda yadda.

Feist + M. Ward = Awesome. I tried looking for that track, but couldn't find it. Do you know where the show is? I think this should be a definite goal. Nate- I just figured this out. It's the new Wilco album that has a duet with Feist. I knew I had this partially right.

Nate- did you know M Ward moved back to Portland in 2007? So, where is he? Also, I think I heard that he and Zoey Deschanel have a duet album now? Is that true?
