I've been watching through Star Wars with Justus lately (editing out some scenes). I've started with the original three- which is bringing back a lot of memories from childhood.

The boys have really been into Lego Star Wars lately and so we've been watching them also. Will and I have recently watched the first two also (episode 4 and 5???) and it was a tearful moment for me knowing that I have a son old enough to watch these with. I didn't skip any scenes in Empire, and only 2 in New Hope.
Just to be fair, I've watched several of the tamer scenes with Jonathan also. Good stuff...and it brings back memories for me too.

I voted for Phantom because I liked Liam Neeson in that one.

I'm pretty sure that I have watched at least three of the movies, but I'm not sure which ones . I'm sure Cameron could tell me all about each episode. He seems to like the movies quite a bit. Maybe I will spend some time and watch some more so I can converse intelligently with you. Robin

I didn't skip any scenes in Empire, and only 2 in New Hope. Yeah, there's less to skip in Empire. I did skip the whole brain probe thing w/ Han (and with Leia in a New Hope). And I fast forwarded the Emperor a bit. I'm not sure how much I'll have to skip in Jedi- probably the most of the first 3. And Revenge of the Sith is probably the most "adult", wouldn't you say?

wouldn't that be voter fraud? I'm not sure if I could live with myself.

Cameron told me at the party today that Cory's the real Star Wars buff.

My kids have seen 5 of the six star wars. I actually saw these movies so much when I was growing up that I had forgotten about some of the scarier or graphic scenes. As a result me and my children had some talking to do. I am absolutely against them watching revenge of the sith seeing that it was almost too much for me, Because of Lego star wars however I have shown them a couple quick clips from the movie. The fighting between yoda and the emperor right at the end is pretty cool.

I remember being so disappointed after watching the Phantom Menace because Jar Jar survived. One slip of the lightsaber could have made the movie for me.

I'm with you, Alex. Phantom Menace would have been much better without the reigning jester of anachronistic funny-men (or, aliens, rather).
Is the Phantom Edit still available?

That's hilarious. ;D
I asked Will if he'd like that for Christmas and he just got this blank, concerned look on his face.
Jonathan thinks there really is force because when he holds his hand up in front of the nightlight, it turns on. ;D

I don't know if we have any Weird Al fans here, but he did a remake of American Pie, call Saga begins. I think any Star Wars fan would enjoy it. Here is a link to the song on youtube.
