'Tis true, Mo. Although I get a little tired of my family gluing their flat little noses to the screen, I gotta admit it is a well done show and you learn a lot. It figures that the web would pick up on the most bizarre aspects of the show. (And since he's out in the middle of nowhere, there are more than a few such moments!) But don't take my word for it, I'm sure Michelle has something to say in its defense! ;D

Mo, You probably just happened to catch a couple seconds of the "squeezing the water out of elephant dung" scene or something. Don't judge the show out of context. You'd really have to sit down and watch a whole episode to really appreciate it. Sigh, he knows not what he says.... 'Tis true, Mo. But don't take my word for it, I'm sure Michelle has something to say in its defense! ;D Maybe you are both right. Perhaps the show isn't all about biting into giant larva so that the juice is squirting all over the place, camping inside of camel corpses, eating zebra cadavers and jumping into bog holes. However, I hardly ever watch TV shows and whenever I come across one I can't help thinking that the niveau nowadays has become really low. Maybe I'm just too cramped and should take it for what it is - entertainment. But it seems to me that this particular show is a total fake and I can't help noticing it.

LOL!
I wonder if that was from season 1 or not? (there was a lot of controversy on stuff like this in season 1).

Bear took Will Farrell with him on tonight's episode. Hilarious!!! I wonder if its a rerun? I seen an episode a few months back with Will Farrell, and it was quite funny.

Probably was.
Favorite highlights:
Will mocking Bear's accent.
Will having to go poop in the freezing arctic.
Will wondering what eagle eyesocket might taste like after eating a caribou eyesocket.
Will saying Bear yelled and screamed at him between camera takes, reducing him to tears, and that Bear was a mean guy who no one likes.

Justus and I have been watching through the older seasons of man vs. wild and I came across a scene I never saw before. It's on one of the episodes where he's in Patagonia and while he's around the campfire he shares that his Christian faith is very important to him and that it has gotten him through many difficult and lones times.
I thought that was pretty cool for a show like this.

I like the show, but really, you shouldn't follow most of his advice unless you are like RobC, and if it's basically the middle of the zombie apocalypse. His is extreme survival, like if you've tried all other avenues -- like Survivor Man.
The Will F. episode was awesome.
I didn't know he was a believer.
