But the bible says Jesus was white... Matt 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
Rev 1:13 ...and in the midst of the seven lampstands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. 14His head and hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire; 15His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters; 16He had in His right hand seven stars, out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His countenance was like the sun shining in its strength.

Jewish people today are white. Were they not white 2000 years ago? In fact, I think John Stewart is Jewish, and he's pretty white.

That's just Jewish people from Europe... Intermixed over time. Jews from Palestine are darker... Jews of Jesus time more like Arabs

Why? We know that even in New Testament times the Jews were spread throughout southern Europe and happy to remain there. The destruction of the Temple only accelerated the diaspora. Jews and Christians in the Middle Ages in Europe had a symbiotic but often hostile relationship. But you gotta know, even against taboos, there was intermarrying and many Jews did convert to Christianity.

Ill admit its not a popular view but a recent study of Jewish DNA out of John Hopkins university by Dr Elhaik, a Jew himself, found that when DNA of European Jews was compared with those still living in the Caucus region (souther russia, northern Turkey) the evidence suggest that is the primary origin of the group of people.
What is interesting is that the Palestinians living in and around Israel, have far more DNA evidence on their side to argue that they have descended from Isreal.
