Okay, Josh is gone for a week, and he has NO IDEA what will be done with the forum.
Post the things you were afraid to say while Josh was in charge here.
I'll start...
I really love popular culture that promotes paganism like My Neighbor Totoro and the author Charles DeLint. Harry Potter really doesn't count because that's fantasy witchcraft, nothing close to the real thing.
Whatever you do, don't tell Josh!

I really love popular culture that promotes paganism like My Neighbor Totoro and the author Charles DeLint. Harry Potter really doesn't count because that's fantasy witchcraft, nothing close to the real thing. Whatever you do, don't tell Josh! All I am going to say to you is, be care-full!!!! I have watched programs where even non Christians have even interacted with things like weegie boards and those who are still alive are wishing they never went there with it. A story was once shared with me too that a person went to a fortune teller and the customer was given a sealed letter with the instructions not to open it before he got home. The curiosity got the better of him and he opened it; he read that he would make it home alive. 5 minutes later he was killed out right by being knocked down. The letter was found laying beside him..... I am sharing this christian article. This is very much off target from what you you are saying about stuff we always wanted to say as what I am describing is a interactive involvement. But some times there is no define innocence between the two. THE OCCULT—What does the Bible say about it? Today, many people dabble in the mystical, occultic arts. Is there anything wrong with being involved in these practices? Yes, the Bible takes a clear position on this subject, strongly denouncing these practices. God created us and therefore owns us. He has a right to set the rules for our lives. God’s Word indicates that these practices are part of Satan’s strategy of evil tricks and deception, designed to lead us astray. Satan and his demons are real beings set on our destruction. Click here for full article. www.christiananswers.net/q-eden/edn-occult.html

I don't watch films that show the practices of the occult-- I hate that stuff. Rather, films that just describe paganism and the ideas of it. The Scripture does the same.
We need not worry about hearing lies as long as we know the truth.

Hah hah, Steve, when the cat is away the mice still can't play Well, I don't know the films/ authors you're referring to, but I will say, from a C.S. Lewis perspective, better an honest pagan than a wolf-in-Christian-clothing.
