Anyone want to recommend some good films they've seen recently?

This isn't a "recent" film, but I did see it recently:
Les Miserables from 1934. It is the way Les Miserables was meant to be filmed: not as a silly musical, or as a deeply abbreviated two hour film, but as a rich, complex, layered story of a saint that is the length of a short mini series. It is brilliant and there isn't a boring moment. Well maybe one, but you're so far into the story at that point that it doesn't matter. It is in French, but the subtitles are done very well. I highly recommend it 4.5/5

If you haven't seen it yet, Being Elmo , a heartwarming documentary about a Muppeteer and the creator of Elmo is fantastic. Captures behind-the-scenes Muppet moments and Henson history, as well about achieving goals and living dreams. Fun. Available to stream via Netflix.
