Hello all, so I was thinking cynically to myself the other day that the gratitude list I started last year needed a counterpart. Sort of a *itch, moan and complain list if you will. A place to put all those frustrations and spiritual temper tantrums I am prone to. Consider it a move to wards authenticity! So I invite you to join me here in airing your emotional/spiritual/mental laundry. Keep it respectful and kind to one another of course, (not a place to complain about your spouse! ) refrain from "fixing" others thoughts/feelings and just let er vent!

Current temper tantrum- I am really, really tired of hurting physically and wonder when and if my body will ever be pain free. I want to be able to do the things I want to do, when I want to do them, how I want to do them!

oh, well, here's one:
I am looking out the window longingly at the "outside world", despising beds and couches.
I guess it's more impatience than ingratitude, but...

Geez, Sarah, you didn't leave a whole lot to whine about!!! ;D No matter, I'm sure I can overcome... I've think I've been especially ungrateful for what my body CAN do. For a lot of years now, my movements have been pretty limited because of my back issues. But, I tend to hone in on what is not possible instead of what is. For example, today I spent the day raking. Okay, I'm tired and sore, but that is not something I could have done 20 years ago, so I guess I really am grateful. (Oh-oh... I think I broke a rule there...)
