Hey guys! I'm listening to some Bill Mallonee as I write this and I'm hoping to go to some sweet concerts this fall and winter in the Portland area.
If anyone reading this knows of any of the following playing in the area, please let me know (and anyone else with similar taste in artists). Thanks!
Matt's Top 10 list (feel free to add great musicians to this organic list) :0)
1. Phil Keaggy 2. Bill Mallonee 3. Mike Roe (or 77s) 4. Trace Bundy 5. Steven Delopoulos (formerly of Burlap to Cashmere) 6. Marc Cohn 7. Waterdeep 8. Mark Knopfler 9. Glen Phillips 10. The Lost Dogs (of coarse!)

Matt, Do you know about this? I might go.
LAM PRODUCTIONS is proud to present The Lost Dogs Moment in Time Tour. The Lost Dogs (Michael Roe, Terry Scott Taylor, Derri Daugherty and Steve Hindalong) will . You may have never heard of them, but they have stood the test of time and are counted among the best musicians in the business.
In September 2008, The Lost Dogs traveled down Route 66, “The Glory Road,” and they played to street people in Bloomington, IL, a homeless shelter in Albuquerque, NM and gave music lessons to children on a Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona. Route 66 was undoubtedly their most rewarding experience on the road . . .ever . . . jumping off in Chicago and ending at the pier in Santa Monica, California for an on-the-beach concert.
The Dogs (as they are affectionately known) find themselves profoundly changed. There is a powerful sense of new vision, purpose and camaraderie. They became true brothers after sharing the road in a cramped RV for days on end. Each was melancholy at the end of the road, wishing to relive the entire trip again.
You will have an opportunity to hear about their recent adventures along Route 66 and maybe even a new song or two "Lost Dogs Americana style.”

Thanks Josh for the heads up. I didn't know about this concert but would like to go if I can arrange for a babysitter from 7pm on. Let me know if you decide to go; that'd be a factor in my decision.
I'll let the Lost Dog fans here in Yamhill County know about it too. Hope to see you soon and my apologies for not posting more often on this forum; it's all I can do to keep up with facebook alone. Blessings, Matthew :0)
