If true, I might end up wishing we had Rock Band instead of Guitar Hero.

Rock Band: Beatles is out!

Here's some cool info:

The game consists of 45 songs by the British rock group The Beatles spanning their career, along with virtual depictions of the band members performing the songs. Future downloadable content for the game will feature additional songs and full albums from The Beatles, such as the entirety of Abbey Road (1969) shortly after the game's release.

and

For songs with multiple vocals, such as "I Feel Fine" here, harmonious pitch lines are shown on the vocal track (top) for players to try to match, although they will still score points if they simply follow the lead's pitch.

Basically here is the scoop. The game itself is outstanding!!! It works with standard Rock Band Equipment. If you already have it, you should just buy the game. On the other hand if you do not have Rock band equipment you have the dilemma of purchasing standard Rockband equipment AND THE GAME. (you would then have the regular Rock Band Game, and the Beatles game. Or alternatively, you could by the limited edition where there is a universal consensus that it is cool, fully functional, yet incredibly overpriced!!!
