Let's see: 2 are sick at the Havens household 3 doors down.
So the Aletheia tally is now 9 and counting. More?
BTW, Sarah, I had really bad achy/ fatigue going on but I'm feeling quite a bit better today. Justus had the same thing last week with a fever but it didn't materialize into anything bad.

Hi all, Lindsay's Doc confirmed today that she does indeed have Swine flu. Seems all those body aches, coughing, headaches, fatigue and fever we have running through the church are likely swine flu as well! Lindsay is doing much better, no fever for a few days and just a lingering cough. Victoria started to show symptoms last night which is kind of scary to me, but hopefully it won't develop into anything major! Happy flu season!

I had been pretty disappointed that we had not been able to get over to Aletheia for the last month. Now, don't get me wrong, I love you guys a lot, but.....after reading these posts.....uh, well, you get the picture!! Love and prayers to all who feel badly--most especially to Lindsay and Baby V!!

Now I feel rather fortunate to have missed church last week. I'm supposed to do the teaching this week, and I'm sure Laine is hoping that she doesn't have to sit an listen to me by herself. She gets enough of that at home.

Well, this is Day 6 of H1N1 for me and this morning was awful. After 6 days I still have all the symptoms I've struggled with all week (sweating profusely, chills, fever, hacking cough, aches, etc...) not to mention the mental anguish that's beginning to kick in.
Justus is almost better. Riley still has the fever, and Rose is so-so.
Robin? Amy? How are you doing?

Well, im sick of being in the house and taking tylenol every 4 hours and ibu every 6 is getting old and dosent seem to be really helping the fever sometimes it does other times it doesn't. My question is this, Is this ever going to end? The fever, and body aches are the worst and the nausea comes and goes.....

Josh, I can't believe you can still drag yourself to the laptop. Seriously, I feel SO BADLY for you. I am praying for comfort. We got back from Vermont a little while ago. God blessed and answered prayers about church, big-time. I will tell you more when you get better. Love to all your family--and to all the rest of you that are struggling so much. I wish you were all doing better

Oh dear, oh dear. I wish you all a soon and full recovery!
Although everywhere I went on my trip the swine flu was present, this cup thankfully passed from me - so far. I knock on wood. I think I'll sign up for the vaccination!
On a different note: had you been a congregation of homosexuals or atheists, or the like, I'm sure there would be a religious loony to say your sickness is God's way of showing disapproval...

Well, you know, now that you mention it.....Robin's kid once mistakenly referred to us a Atheist Christian Fellowship to his teacher. So, maybe there is a connection there I think we're going to need a sermon on that one.

It would figure that we are cursed because of Cory. Of course I'm joking. Believe it or not Cory is a blessing.

Amy..so glad you see some light...even if it's just a glimmer. Josh...you are starting to scare me....are you eating and drinking stuff? (Paul wants to know) I am empathizing with your "mental anguish." When I had shoulder surgery, I remember thinking if I had to lie there one more minute with that full brace on, I was going to explode in a million pieces. The pain wasn't so bad, (thanks to the magic of pharmaceuticals,) but at times when I am sick I get this desperate feeling like I have to run and get away, (as if I were strong enough!) Is it anything like that? Like anxiety? Still feeling badly for you on Day #7

So I learned a huge lesson when you start feeling better you still need to be still, got a little crazy yesterday and did to much and needless to say my light is gone. . . . Fever, no sleep, aches and pains and HORRIBLE HEADACHE. . . Good lord is this ever going to end??
