Genesis 12:2-3 (V) 2 “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” This prophecy, being God’s words to Abraham, although somewhat vague, can easily be said to have been fulfilled by Jesus Christ: before his ministry the effect of the Jewish worldview on the rest of mankind was almost non-existent, after Christ, the message of the Hebrew Scriptures was indeed brought to all the peoples of the earth, and along with that has come great blessing. (Lest the reader immediately ask how the Crusades and the Inquistion were blessings, remember also the great humanitarian accomplishments of Christians: salvaging learning as Europe descended into the “Dark Ages”, the setting up of the first hospitals, universities, their help on behalf of poverty, their work to end the slave trade, etc.)
