I find it so strange. All of these types of articles claim to be written by someone in a neutral position. Someone coming from the middle that both the left and right disagree with. But in many cases, the people saying these things, those I'm these positions to say these ideas, are so removed from the experiences they claim to talk about.
I live with a black man. All of my coworkers are minorities, half of them gay, all of them working class. I am the token white guy. The stolen offence by people with degrees from Stanford and Harvard on behalf of the underclass of our country is bizarre. All you need to do is ask them and they will tell you that white evangelicals are not the ones that gave trump a bad name. First off, for them, trump doesn't have a bad name, second, it is in fact the white Christians that hate him, and third, they know the difference between his real base, those that only go to church twice a year(the men that always skip out to watch the game), and professing christians.
No aspersions cast. But it is bizarre nonetheless.
