Here's a graphic of the Mars Hill "No-Compete" zone, wherein pastors who leave the congregration have to sign an agreement that they won't pastor at another church within this radius. To me, this is a good example of Christian ministry trying to control (and thereby potentially interfering with God's work) rather than proceed by faith. Plus, it's also a good example of how lame it is when the church relies on legal enforcement to achieve it's agendas.
Other thoughts?

Yuck?
God is sovereign and works all things for good...?
God's purposes are never thwarted forever...?
Don't work for them...?
