Do you think Solomon's actions in the case of the two prostitutes and their children is exemplary or questionable? Why?

So, the main idea of today's lesson was that God is, in James words (James 1:5-8), generous and not withholding, wanting to give us His wisdom. He is willing to bestow His wisdom on us, just like on Solomon, despite the fact that we don't have all our ducks a row, despite the fact that we remain in need of sanctification. The only thing to avoid in regard to accepting His wisdom is to be double-minded about the wisdom He gives us, because if we doubt His wisdom, it cannot have its effect in us. I'm curious, is there any Wisdom from the Father that He's been trying to drive home to you lately that you may or not be readily receiving? Do tell

I can think of a couple things where I have asked God for wisdom or guidance and he showed me the answer or at least where to get the answer and I delayed in accepting it or following through because of my personality/judgements. Later it was pretty clear to me that that was God's answer. hmmm...I wonder what else I'm ignoring.
