;D ;D ;D
Yeah, and Paul got stoned too!
2 Cor. 11:25 Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I spent a night and a day in the open sea...
On a slightly (only slightly) more serious note I have to say that I also disagree about fermentation being a part of the fall because I think it's pretty clear that the laws of decay were in effect in the garden of Eden (ie, purposefully created by God), otherwise this verse makes no sense:
Genesis 2:15 The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.
What's there to work and take care of in a world without entropy?

I really believe this earth, or a completely new earth, will be a physical place -- and much like the French do now, we will all eat a lot of food we love, but don't need, and doesn't hurt us!!

Rethinking this topic: is it possible that we will need to eat in our resurrection bodies and that all we will eat is indeed the fruit of trees? I've never before thought of it but it's really hard to imagine a human body without a digestive system.

Please don't toy with my emotions people...there will be food in heaven! There will most definitely be guacamole (since avocados come straight from God himself), anything with basil, certainly anything with cheese, Nutella (also straight from heaven), and chocolate peanut butter ice cream!
Heavenly foods must be in heaven! ;D

I was considering starting a new thread but my question is closely related to the topic discussed here. I was wondering if there will be genders in the new earth and if so will people where clothes? If each of us were without gender distinctions clothes would not seem necessary, but if male and female still exist which I believe they will, can humanity shed its need to cover our nakedness? Prior to the fall nakedness was natural, but can we return to that mindset?
You see this is the kind of silly topic that starts to occupy my thinking when left with too much time alone on the road.

Lol. I'm just kind of curious what you might have seen off the site of the road that lead you in this direction

If there is no husband and wife and presumably no procreation in heaven, then there is presumably no sex, so it seems nakedness would not be an issue. However, if there is no sex, does that mean that we will not have certain organs? When Paul describes the relationship between our mortal bodies and our resurrection ones he uses the analogy of a seed turning into a plant. Seeds are very different than plants, yet still contain continuity. How much similiarity we'll have, we can't say of course. But I think we can be certain that we will recognizable to each other.
