I've been reading through A New Kind of Pentecostalism by Samuel Lee this week. It's a welcome read, as it is by a self-proclaimed "pentacostal" and it addresses many of the problems with the movement and promotes dialogue for change. Problem areas he identifies in the Pentacostal movement include: Emotivism, Exaggeration, An Unhealthy Focus on Performance, Miracles, Signs and Wonders, Financial Ethics, Leader-Worship, unwillingness to work with or respect other Christians, etc.. I like the balance in the book, because Lee is a pentacostal who believes in the full operation of the Holy Spirit from tongues to signs and wonders, but is very concerned about the abuses that have crept in and sometimes overwhelmed the movement. It's available in the ACF library if you want to check it out.
