I really want to see "The Boy In the Striped Pajamas" only from seeing the cover. I know nothing else about it. I really want to see this too. I saw the preview on the Son of Rambow (good movie, btw) and think it looks really good. I was just talking about that on the backpacking trip.

Kung-Fu Panda**** Watched it with Justus. Totally digged it. Very funny... I actually laughed out loud a couple times (I don't do that very often with movies). Witty with some original twists. Watching this tonight... I'm stoked. I hope I love it! I'll report back someday.

From what I know of you so far, I think you'll definitely like it.

It was amazing! I truly loved it. I also had some pretty great company to watch it with, but I'll be pleading the fifth for a while on that one Po reminded me of... ME so many times. Truly a great family film (despite animated violence galore)

I saw a number of films last year, and I think that I am becoming harder and harder to impress.
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was a good adventure film but in the larger Indy canon it was pretty weak.
Iron Man was a surprise hit for me. I am not much of a fan of the comic but the film was very enjoyable.
Dark Knight was an incredible film, but was so bleak/ dark that we are hesitant to watch it again.
Unlike many here, I really enjoyed Dan in Real Life. I made a special effort to purchase it when it came out.
I watched Wall-E recently, and I have to confess that it didn't do much for me. It had some great moments, but I felt it was a little over hyped (not that many of the other films that I mentioned here weren't)
Caspian was forgettable to me. They handled it well, but it isn't one of my favorite chapters in the Narnia series.
So far, my son won't let me get through Kung-Fu Panda because he gets bored of films pretty easily.
I thought that Valkarie came out this year (I may be mistaken). However, I really enjoyed this one and found it just as intense the second time I saw it.

I think that the greatest movie of 2008 was "The Dark Knight"
