In some Christian circles, common sense is considered as unspiritual, something that lacks faith. Yet, I do believe that we need both, the spirituality and common sense. When common sense is absent, we are vulnerable to manipulation, deceive and disappointments.
-Samuel Lee
I liked this quote. I always hate it when Christians devalue the intelligence God gave us. Really, it's an insult to God.
Common wisdom has it's limits and can be corrupted like anything else put on a pedestal instead of God, but in His light, it's just one more powerful tool for good.

yeah, that's crazy. Who would think common sense or intelligence isn't of value? That's kinda like saying the brain isn't important, yet God gave it to us.

Agreed. This is one of the reasons why I highly value philosophical arguments when discussing theology.
