It seems like there are a bunch of us that like food, so I was wondering if anyone has any fun recipes or cooking experiences to share? Easy dinner ideas are always helpful too, a.t.m. I'm looking for a really good homemade mac and cheese recipe (comfort food) Anyone?

I've got a really good mac and cheese recipe. I found it on the back of a Kraft box. It's really good- I make it all the time But seriously, good idea for a thread. I'll have to sic Rosemary on this one.

hmmm, I'll have to think, i did however recently start making homemade chicken nuggets for Lindsay. Super easy and fast. I take some thawed chicken tenders, dice them into chunks. I beat one egg, put some bread crumbs in another bowl, dip, transfer, then cook stove top in a small amount of oil. Lindsay loves them and gobbles them up!

Any other veggies on the board? If not, I'll hold back with an onslaught of vegetarian recipes I have grown to love.

I've got an awesome mac'n'cheese recipe that you could have...it's got toasted coconut on the top. Just kidding, Michelle only thought it had coconut on the top - it was actually panko bread crumbs. It's really yummy.
I also have been meaning to give you the recipe I have that is similar to the yellow corn stuff that we love at Chevy's! That's yummy too!
I think I shared this one with you already, but the carne asada steak from Trader Joe's is dangerously delicious. It's fresh not frozen, already marinated and ready to throw on the grill...perfect for quick and easy tacos/burritos

Mmm, I'll have to try your chicken nuggets on my kids Sarah, they sound like a good quick soccer practice night meal! The cornbread and mac and cheese recipes sound good Rose! Could you post them? I think would be fun to have some recipe archives on the forums! Vegetarian recipes are excellent! I think I could be a vegetarian except I like steak too much ... and lamb and... Speaking of meat, the other day I got this really interesting recipe from a friend for Bacon jelly. It sounds really wrong, but I think it is kind of a bacon bbq spread, has anyone tried anything like that before? And thanks Josh for your input I bet you make a mean mac & cheese

Taco Soup Ok so if you have been around me long enough, I know you have been offered my taco soup. I have two recipes that I like one is weight watcher, the other...not. (mostly it's the cheese, sour cream and tortilla chips that push it over the calorie edge!)
Taco Soup #1 1 box chicken stock 1 large jar (16oz) salsa with a flavor you like (I often will add equal salsa to stock because I like lots of flavor!) 1 can black beans 1 cup frozen corn meat of choice (I like diced chicken or ground turkey) lime juice and cilantro to taste Heat, mix, decide about above mentioned extras, enjoy! This is a very forgiving recipe and can be increased, changed and played with at will! I've also done a fajita style with veggies
Taco Soup #2 (Weight watcher recipe) Chicken stock 1 can diced tomatoes 1 can "mexi" corn 1 can black or pinto beans 1 packet taco seasoning ( I use 1/2) 1 packet ranch dressing mix
dump, heat and eat (i think it is like 2 points per cup.... maybe?)
