I've thought of an answer to the "Who would Jesus bomb?" bumper sticker. Then there's.. "My karma ran over your dogma". And last but not least.... "I SAW THAT!!!". -God-

Ok I saw one today that I didn't want to forget. Jesus called, He wants His religion back.

Was that a love it or hate it?

I have to put it in the "love it" category...it made me laugh.
Not that I lend any credence to the notion, but I just pictured a world full of people on roller skates spinning around in a perpetual "see-saw" motion with their fingers pointed to the sky, occassionally breaking to give two claps, then one under the leg, followed by a jerking of their thumbs over their shoulders and ...well, you get the picture. ;D

I thought I was indecisive; now I'm not so sure.
I poke badgers with spoons.

Badgers DO need to get poked, it's quite true. And it's pretty nice of you to just use a spoon Welcome to the forums, pagan! Glad to have you along for the ride. Looks like you've posted some good stuff already.

Speaking of badgers...
I got an old fashioned shaving kit for Christmas last year, with a badger hair shaving brush and a bar of soap. Which triggered the question among my relatives: where do they get the badger hairs for the brush? It was decided that they must shave the badgers (no doubt using a badger hair shave brush and straight razor) because plucking the hairs would be cruel.
But I never thought of poking one with spoon until today.

Sarah, reading the one about the SUV made me double over laughing!!! Josh, Jewish carpenter, It's a child, not a choice and the Mother Teresa stickers are classics and some of my all time favorites! Did you know there's an unwritten rule that anyone who has more than three or four bumper stickers on the same side of one car is---how shall I put this gently?--a nutbar? Before you attack me, let me qualify: Those round little stickers with European country symbols, or some other affiliation, ("Member, Jelly of the Week Club") do NOT count as one of the three. Neither do the ones who announce they are proud their child is the best student in the world. Those people are just anouncing their alliance or approval. I'm talking REAL opinion-expressing bumper stickers, here. Like "I Hate Some Politician," or "I Hate God and ALL the People that Believe in Him." Don't believe me? Ok, next time you see someone driving with the entire back of their car plastered with stickers, take a peek behind the wheel and let me know what you think! (It'll be our little secret poll And yes, since I know you are wondering: I DO put a bumper sticker on my car. ONE bumper sticker on my car. My last one said "It'll be a great day when schools have all the money they need and the air force has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber." That car died. (Coincidence? Divine intervention? Freak Meteor Shower? You be the judge...) My next one is going to say: "Abortion. If it's not really a child, then it's not really a problem, right?" or, alternatively: "Life is short. Eternity is a long, long time. Plan Accordingly." I stick, therefore I am.

Has anyone posted this one?
"If your life is rusty, your bible is dusty"
I saw it on the back of a very dusty car.

I just saw one today that is appropriate for what we are studying now:
God wants spiritual fruits, not religious nuts.

I don't know if this would normally make me chuckle, but it did yesterday:
"Are you following Jesus THIS CLOSELY?"

Saw one today I really liked:
"Don't believe everything you think!"
