as for the priesthood, the levvitical preisthood will still run the temple, whether there is an aharonic one or not. an earthly temple=erathly preists...
shalom- john
PS- the body is the temple in a since but i am speaking of a literal temple. the wall of partition is not broken down in the earthly temple, only the temple of the body of christ. he said that he was a temple, and that he was the light of the world (a referencee to the temple). so yes he is the temple, and yes that means alot, but my post was speaking of the literal 3rd temple.

so, would you agree that no sacrifice would need to be made on the day of atonement, in light of Christ's "once for all sacrifice"?

we are all preists. YHVH said that he would make Yisrael a 'kingdom of preists'- this is an oxymoron to the jew. for the kingdom beliongs to judah, and preists beliong to levi. there would not be such thing as a kingdom of preists, unless he is speaking of the malki-tzedekan preisthood.
shalom- john PS- avraham is viewed as being a preist as well. so is mosheh, and mosheh was also a king at one time (this is told more about in the book of jasher). so it is belived that malki-tzedek handed the preisthood to avraham by l'aying of hands' and that passed down through the generations until mosheh.

To Jewish believers, Jesus declares:
"Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matthew 22:37-40
Obviously, there are commandments that remain a perpetual command that Jews are to always follow - but, no amount of "law keeping" would be pleasing to God apart from recognizing Yeshua as their salvation and loving their neighbor as he loves they and the church!
To Gentile believers Jesus declares:
"Wherefore my sentence is, that we (Jewish Apostles) trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God: But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood." Acts 15:19-20
Just as obvious are the simplistic requirements given to Gentile believers. The law was the task master that revealed their need for forgiveness at the mercy seat of our Savior and Lawgiver - Jesus Christ! Gentile believers then, are told NOT to rely on the keeping of the laws to please God but rather, to love one another in the very same manner that Jesus Christ loved them and gave His life for they!
