My friend Claude has started a few facebook pages exposing some of the errors of the Jehovah's Witnesses. His wife having grown up a JW, he's got a particular perspective on this that I find valuable. Here's a page which pits the JW claim that their publication the Watchtower is not subject to the whim of human opinion followed by numerous quotes on medical advice from earlier in the century which are tremendously laughable now. Link: Watchtower Quotes on HealthJust another reminder of the cultish tendency to declare our own brand of Christianity infallible that crops up throughout history. It's remarkable what a difference there is between this kind of silliness and the Scripture which our faith is founded on. I'd be curious to hear a JW rebuttal.

Come on Josh, Watchtower? Really? That is like picking on the kid on the playground with Downsyndrome who is simultaniously a parapalegic.

Just a reminder to post your perspectives with "gentleness and respect". I find that mockery only serves to further convince JWs that they have the truth.
What I always hope for in a dialogue with Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons (or anyone for that matter) is that they'll come away from it asking questions with some natural, healthy skepticism.
