There are also rumors of Jeff Goldblum and Harrison Ford
MJ and Farrah are apparently confirmed. I suspect Jeff and Harrison are just fine. It is a bit weird for me to see people react so strongly to MJ, I just think the whole story of his life is sort of sad....

This would be a good place for me to interject one of the longest-held truths of journalism: "It comes in threes." --Yes, folks, you forgot Ed McMahon forming the third leg of the tripod, as it were. Ed, Michael and Farrah. All will now be quiet on the Western Front.....unless........of course, someone starts a new set.... (Of course, this oft-proven truth only applies in the case of famous people, so chances are, we'll all be just fine )

I just think the whole story of his life is sort of sad.... Maybe that's precisely why people react strongly. I haven't been a fan of MJ in the sense that I would buy his CDs or see his shows. But his music is a part of the soundtrack of my childhood. I agree with you that the whole story of his life is really sad. From being forced to his career by his ambitious father as a child to the ghost that he had become in his last years. This person seems to have been a ruine - physically and mentally. A grotesque shadow of his own past. His story reveals the abysses of fortune and fame. And his early death seems to be the logical consequence. Really sad. R.I.P. Michael.

Well its certain that MJ and Farrah have died. And the coverage other here in Britain has not been divided between the two. Our major news channel has covered Jackos death for pretty much half a day on the trot. Although i didn't watch it all the way through. I had to sleep, what has the reaction been in Oregon where you all live. Harrison Ford and Jeff Goldblum are still alive the whole thing about them was a sick internet prank. This can only be described as diabolical and heartless. How can people like that exist its just horrible that someone could do that. Ed McMahon has died aged 86. Over half a century older than MJ. So we should keep the familys of these three in our heads and condemn those who started the Harrison Ford and Jeff Goldblum rumours. R.I.P Micheal and Farrah

The whole "comes in threes" thing- makes me think of how John F. Kennedy, C.S. Lewis, and Aldous Huxley all died on the same day, and that was the day that Rosemary's mom came to the States for the first time.

I liked him myself. He was a fair actor, a good dancer, and a decent guy. A mainstay of a generation.

#1. Patrick Swayze #2. Henry Gibson #3. Mary Travers (of Peter, Paul and Mary)
That's all I'm gonna say.
--Well, maybe except for the disturbing fact that my family seems to feel I am personally responsible for the death of Patrick Swayze. So, I was in the grocery story that morning with my daughter and I (innocently) said: "Omigosh! All the tabloids have Patrick Swayze on the cover!! That man has been on those magazines for MONTHS. When is he really going to die?"
That's all I said.
Then when we came home an hour later, the poor man had passed and suddenly my family is blaming ME!!
I had nothing to do with the other two. Although, I have a memory of "Puff the Magic Dragon" being my "first favorite song" when I was about five...
